• Evaluate the impact of large-scale energy users on local grid demand and ensure balanced planning that protects residential energy stability.
• Support investments in modernized, energy-efficient infrastructure that reduces strain on the system, improves overall performance, and helps control long-term utility costs.
• Promote affordable, reliable utility service by encouraging cost-effective infrastructure planning, ratepayer protections, and measures that prevent disproportionate cost burdens on District residents.
• Promote transparency in energy planning and coordination between utilities, regulators, and public stakeholders.
